Travel Out There Team at ITB Berlin

Austin visited Riga for a New Years Eve party at the end of 2003 and never went home. Awestruck by Riga's nightlife, electric atmosphere and sense of excitement in this fascinating Baltic capital, Austin had an inclination that there were many opportunities to be seized upon during this period of dramatic change in Latvia. 

Within 6 months, Austin had founded and established Travel Out There, an online incoming tourism agency offering unforgettable experiences for visitors to Latvia. “There are so many amazing experiences, activities and things to do here in Latvia, I was simply wanting to make the inaccessible accessible’.

The company has since expanded and evolved in to one of the leading tourism hospitality and service provider companies in Latvia. In 2007 with the continued success of Travel Out There, Austin decided to expand operations to include the two other Baltic countries: Lithuania and Estonia.  We are now working hard working with service providers and partners across Europe to give our valued customers the opportunity to Travel Out There in Belgrade, Kiev, Krakow, Warsaw, Budapest...the list is continually growing :)

The Travel Out There team are constantly developing the global site. Our system allows our valued customers to browse and book experiences throughout Eastern Europe directly with our Local Expert in each destination.  “Travel  Out There will enable the tour guides  and suppliers to concentrate on  what they do best, showing visitors to their country a wonderful time and experience, and allow us to help support them with their online presence and booking management process. It will also ensure great value – as the supplier will be selling directly to the customer’.

The website is an example of the peer to peer revolution in web development.  It allows the content and activities to be uploaded by the service providers and customers!  Customers  have the control – with the capability of rating and reviewing the services on offer.

Austin plans to travel extensively in the short distant future to fulfill his childhood ambition ‘to see the World’, meeting providers, experiencing the activities and enjoying the Travel Out There adventure! 

Travel Out There is a registered company in Latvia (company registration number LV40003797104).  We are members of the Latvian Tourism Association and the European Travel Agents' and Tour Operators' Association.
