Lithuania has sought the title of European Capital of Culture since 1998, when it began preparations to celebrate the Millennium anniversary of its name. In April 2005 a Lithuanian delegation delivered the Vilnius - European Capital of Culture 2009 proposal to an independent selection panel of experts made up by the European Commission. |

Experience the thrill of embarking on the Monster Quad biking safari just outside Vilnius. Quad biking is great Vilnius daytime activity that combines speed, adventure and Lithuania’s beautiful countryside. You will have to skillfully negotiate a variety of terrain whilst enjoying the buzz off throwing the bikes into full throttle.
Transfers, English speaking guide, safety instructions, rent of quad bikes and all equipment, 1.5 hour Quad bike safari.
Suitable safety equipment will be provided for the activity but please make sure that you are wearing suitable footwear (no sandals or flip flops).
It is a fundamental health and safety requirement that none of the party are intoxicated with alcohol.
