Riga is undoubtedly an all-year destination. Charles Bronson: Regarded by many as the personification of the tough guy, Bronson starred in the war epic "The Great Escape" in 1963. There are many Latvians who now claim him as one of their own, but neighbouring Lithuania appear to have a stronger case. Bronson died in 2003, aged 81.
