Jean Michel Jarre – famous French artist, who is usually appearing in various outdoor concerts in historical places of the world in the front of millions, on October 16^th will perform at ŽALGIRIS arena in Kaunas. This concert is included in Jean Michel Jarre World Tour 2011 and only one in Baltic States.

This time artists’ team is touring with all their own sound and light equipment. The show will be full of high-powered lasers and video projectors, so always very demanding to his concerts’ technical quality Jean Michel Jarre performance should be excellent indeed.

The newest JMJ selected tracks album “Essentials and Rarities” was released on May 30^th 2011. The uniqueness of the new album is that it contains not only classic JMJ works but also songs which were composed before his fateful “Oxygene”. So on October 16^th there will be a great possibility to hear all the best of JMJ creation - a unique opportunity to live, or relive, an extraordinary moment.

Jean-Michel André Jarre (born 24 August 1948) is a French composer, performer and music producer. He is a pioneer in the electronic, synthpop, ambient and New Age genres, and known as an organiser of outdoor spectacles of his music featuring lights, laser displays, and fireworks.
