A Vilnius Out There guide will meet you at Vilnius Airport arrivals lounge, escort you to your Minibus and give you priceless tourist information about Vilnius. If you would like to arrive in style then opt for the Vilnius Limousine transfer. In 2011 Wizz Air began new direct flights to and from Vilnius to Barcelona, Cork, Doncaster, Eindhoven, London, Milan, Rome and Stockholm. The decision by Wizz Air to focus upon Lithuania as one of its international bases seemed to spur Ryanair into expanding their operations in Lithuania. Until 2010, Ryanair had been solely operating in the Baltics at Lithuania's second city, Kaunas, and from the Latvian capital, Riga. However, Europe's biggest carrier is now offering an extensive destination list out of both Kaunas and Vilnius, and also began operating several flights out of the Estonian capital, Tallinn.
Ryanair flies to Vilnius from Dublin, Barcelona, London, Milan and Rome.
Ryanair's direct flights to Kaunas in 2011 include:
Alicante, Berlin, Bremen, Birmingham, Bristol, Brussels, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Girona, Kos, Liverpool, London (Gatwick, Luton & Stansted), Milan, Oslo, Paris, Rhodes, Stockholm and Tampere.
The following airlines now fly to Vilnius:
Aer Lingus, Aero Svit, Air Baltic, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Czech Airlines, Estonian Air, Finnair, LOT, Lufthansa, Norwegian, Ryanair, SAS, UT Air.
Ryanair and Air Baltic also operate from Kaunas International Airport. Air Baltic has an extensive network of destinations including Oslo, Tel Aviv, Belgrade and Moscow.
Vilnius Out There Transfers are available to anybody travelling in or out of either Vilnius or Kaunas international airports. They can be booked in conjunctions with other Vilnius services, such as Day Time Activities or Nightlife Excursions, or just as one-off airport transfers.
